Canadian Preggo in Oslo

jriftin

Hi there!  Are there any expat ladies out there in a similar situation?  I am 3.5 months pregnant, live with my Norwegian fiance, work full time and attending Norwegian language courses to try to learn as fast as possible.  I don't have too many friends of my own here yet, as I only moved in March from Vancouver, Canada.

I am hoping there are some English-speaking ladies who are in a similar pickle, where I will be on mat leave starting in January 2013 and don't have too many new Moms-to-be to hang out with.

Please feel free to message me if you want some company when the time comes :)

Sincerely,
Yana

Hey Yana.

There is good news. Your local health station organise a group of mums that have babies around the same time and try to get you to meet once a week. I know an English lady and they found a group of english speaking Mums that she could hang out with.
