Looking for a baby friendly place near KLCC

I'm new to this site..we just arrive in KL 4 days ago. I'm a mom with a 8 months old baby. I want to know if KL is a safe place for me and my baby to walk around?

That would be nice..meeting new friends coz I don't know anyone in here it will be great for me.. Just let me know when as I'm just a walking distance from the Suria KLCC...
