Dear everyone

I would be interested in finding opium related objects ( Opium weights , Opium pipes , opium lamps Etc ..........) ,could anyone inform me on wich area of Vietnam or in wich city i could best look for this type of objects , if you have any idea of prices , i am for it.

I love oddball objects.

I have a bracelet made of solder. It looks like a piece of junk that someone bored made in a electronics shop. It is. It was passed to me from my grandfather, who had an employee who worked on the Manhattan Project, and it is from one of the same rolls of solder that went into one of the atomic bombs that was dropped on Japan in WWII.

I've seen the objects for sale, particularly up in Hanoi, and presume the objects themselves are legal as objets d'arte. There's not much difference between an opium pipe and a pipe to smoke Thuoc Lao.

If the objects are old and have been used for smoking opium this could cause a problem when taking them home to another country.
