Just wondering about the holy books of all relgions... Are these books the evidence which holds that god lived in humanform in earth or are they just stories with sacred ethical guidelines for human beings.......

I am open to talking about anything.

But here is the thing...I do not know any answers about god, is god real,are the holy books just guidelines. Beats me. I am just a guy living the best I know how to live.

I do not have answers only unanswered questions.

I consider myself a modern, assertive Taoist, agnostic.

I do not know  anything but I am okay with not knowing.

It just means I have something to learn.

Instead you could have said... I have no idea and let's live our lives.......

I suppose I could have.
You could have shared your own thoughts, instead of commenting on mine.

well..
i don't know well about that thing
but what i have in my mind is more about like : my faith is mine and your faith is yours..
there's nothing wrong in my faith so in yours..
just do your best to serve..

keep occupied with work
empty mind ............................

The book I was raised on is supposed to be a guide to how we live our lives, but it's so violent and angry.  It contradicts itself all over the place and a lot of the things it says we're not supposed to do are ignored by almost everyone.
