I'm very much interested to learn Danish ASAP, so can anyone advise on possible ways? I have searched everywhere for a centre but could not find any..!

Hypertyper

Check http://www.berlitz-jo.com/languages,
Berlitz offer more courses than the mentioned ones, you should call them.

If you didn't find any, i suggest you to study Danish Online, it's not a used language around the world anyways.

Ismailk

Thank you dear Hypertyper for your prompt response. Yes I agree with you, but studying online is not a good option for me because I prefer to study it either at a center or with some tutor

Primadonna

There is some forum members from Danish, maybe the can help you.
If you go to jordan-networking you will find them.
I suggest you can send them a private message but I don't know if they still active.

Good luck!

Ismailk

Thank you very much dear Primadonna for the response, I highly appreciated  my dear

Hypertyper

My pleasure friend, are u planning to study there? why did u choose denmark?

Ismailk

Good morning Hypertyper, well actually I'm thinking about more than one option in regards to Denmark so all require me to learn the language, but honestly I gave up on finding any available option to learn the language here in Jordan :(

Ismailk

By the way Hypertyper, I called the center you sent me, Gosh they teach lots of languages but not Danish :(( I'm so lucky right? :((

Ismailk

Is it possible that there is no single Danish person existing in Jordan!

Primadonna

I told you, there are Danish memebers on this forum but I don't know if they are still active...

What about the Danish embassy?
Maybe they can help you of give your more information?

Ismailk

well Primadonna, there is no Danish Embassy and only a Consulate and they have no clue..see?

Primadonna

The last option I can give you is to ad your questions at the forum of Danmark.

Hi. I can only speak out of my own experience through learning Norwegian, which is not much different than Danish. You have to start reading and listening to Danish TV or radio programs. You can get most of it through the internet.

Good luck

Primadonna

Are you still interesting to learn Danish?
I think I found a way to help you!

Ismailk

Good morning my dear Primadonna, how are? long time no hear..yes iam interested to learn Danish and French through someone face to face.

Primadonna

I am still active on the forum but you not :P

I'll guess that you only read the topics and replies...

Maybe you know that I study now at the Jordan University to learn the Arabic language.
One of the methods to learn is to have a language partner.
There are students from all over the world, including from Scandanavia: Norway, Denmark and Sweden.
If you want to learn a student Arabic then he/she can learn you Danish. You can call to the University, department Language centre and offer your arabic skills. They can check if there are students from Denmark and put your cellphone number on the contactboard so they can call you.
At least you can try it.

Ismailk

aha sounds cool, yes true having a language partner is a very efficient and effective way. I will call on Sunday and hopefully they will pick up the phone coz i tried before to ask about something and they never answered after too many attempts. On the other hand, since u go there if u know a direct no. to the Center, i would appreciate passing it over.
thank u very much Primadonna for your kindness and help
