Hi, am considering an offer to work from Lagos. I have 2 questions:
1. Is $ 5000 per month is good to live in Lagos with family, if my company is taking care of accomodation, Car, Diesal & driver.
2. What would be the tax deduction by Lagos state or Nigerian gov on my salary

Thanks

Aurélie

Bro, that's more than enough to have a comfortable life in Lagos. On a cautious note, make sure it's a reputable company before taking a plunge.

I think tax is about 10%, not sure.

Thanks Sharjah, the company is good for sure :)

Hi,

This is an old post , so you may know the answers by now.

Tax is dependent on the company, some companies cushion the effect of the tax for their staff. If however, the correct amount of tax is deducted, its more than 10% , the rates are graduated so it depends on how much you earn.
