Aurélie

Hello giaaanky.

Welcome to Expat.com! :)

Can you please introduce yourself?
Is juggling a hobby?

Thank you,
Aurélie

giaaanky

what do you want to know about me?
are you interested about juggling?

I'm Giancarlo, an Italian guy I'm 30 years old, I live in Malta since few days. I love to juggling. I'd like to know if there is someone in Malta  with my same passion.
Or if someone want to discover this passion I can give lessons how juggling with three balls, flower sticks and balloon sculptures :-)

Is it enough like introduction? :-D

ricky

Hi Giancarlo,

welcome to the forum.

Aurelie is a moderator of this forum and not in Malta. She might be interested but not on the island -))) But for all the others it is nice to know about whoever is posting on the forum.

How about starting a hobby juggling group? That is something new for the island that I'm not aware of ! If it is more commercial you can post for free in the classifieds section.

Cheers
Ricky

Yeah I got Aurelie is a moderator.
Hi Ricky, it's not the first time you reply me.
I try to describe better what I'm looking for.
I'd like to know laws about street artists.
For example if I'm in Malta and I'm making balloons sculpture in place far from shop what happens? do I need licence?
Is there a place where usually Maltese people juggle in the spare time?
Are there other people in Malta who likes juggling? I don't believe there is nobody :-( am I the only one? :-O
if nobody knows this wonderful hobby I can give lesson at cheap price , who is interested?

is it all clear now? :-) I hope some reply :-)
Thanks to all in advance ;-)

ricky

Hi Giancarlo,

you do not need a licence in Malta if you perform as a street artist on your own and keep away from any other commercial outlet.

There is no place where Maltese juggle in their spare time that I'm aware of except with taxes. For that they are experts -)))

There are many artists performing juggling with different things - even with fire.

You will find that street artists are usually found in Valletta on Republic Street and sometimes at various events like the Notte Bianco.

There are also many balloon artists in Malta.

It was clear from the beginning that you are not just talking about a hobby but looking to give lessons at a cheap price. You can post in the classifieds section for free or in the jobs section or in the Times of Malta.

If you stay in Malta for more than 3 months don't forget to apply for residency, get health insurance and a tax number -)))

Cheers
Ricky
