Moving to Berlin

Hi all,

I've finally made the decision to move to Berlin from the UK in the first half of next year and was wondering if anyone had any advice.

I'm a web designer with 5 years agency experience looking to find some work when i go over. I've heard Berlin is experiencing a bit of a boom in the creative and marketing industries, with lots of start ups and demand for skilled people. Has anyone had any experience of this or do you have any tips?

My german is basic at the minute but i'm learning. I know speaking the language is a massive plus but are there opportunities for english speakers to work?

Thanks in advance

Paul

Hello Paul.

Welcome to Expat.com! :)

I invite you to read these articles on Work in Germany.

The Jobs in Berlin section is available as well. You can post an advert there.

Good luck in your research,
Aurélie

Hi Paul, That's great. And how fortunate that you can work there too. I'm in the process of doing the same, except I don't speak German yet.

Cheers

Lissa
