I look forward to discussing all aspects of land development and construction management in Costa Rica.
I moved to Costa Rica in 1992 and have had residency here for the last 13 years. I am 100% familiar with all laws regarding land development, construction, permitting, and can make sure you are well represented in the process.  Note: I am not a realtor and I do not sell any property except those that I am developing, building, or renovating.
I speak Spanish and am comfortable communicating with lawyers, realtors, architects, building crews, suppliers.
I can help people who wish to acquire land in Costa Rica with the idea of building either immediately or in the future as well as those who currently own property and now wish to build a home. Sometimes I provide assistance to folks who currently own a home or wish to buy a home that they will then remodel to North American  standards using proven building techniques and quality materials.
Having extensive experience in all of these areas, I am fully prepared to help you inspect and evaluate your land and provide computerized detailed plans for cost effective construction of your home or manage completion of your entire housing project. Also I can provide analysis of your residential construction site to provide architectural and engineering construction plans in order to determine the costs and time to complete your home. With my many years of associating with Costa Rican  engineers, architects, topographers and lawyers I can help you organize all the variables and cost effectively complete your home. And if your existing construction project has had problems and needs to be re-evaluated by a professional who you can communicate with, I can provide hands on construction management to provide you with a quality, finished product on time and within your budget. Additionally, if you have an entire land development project in need of experienced management, I can direct all operations including computerized office and personnel management, accounting, construction, advertising, sales and service. In conclusion I look forward to discussing all aspects of land development and construction management in Costa Rica.

HEllo !!

I have owned property in costa rica for a few years but have yet to develop it.  I will be coming during december for at least 3 weeks and possibly more.  The property is located near Tamarindo and of course I will be considering a number of different designs but most likely it will be quite modest.  Finding a reputable builder and setting up an incremental payment plan through a reputable lawyer so the funds can stay in escrow along the way is very important to me of course.  Let me know where you are located and what you require for your services and perhaps we can continue to communicate along these lines.  I do have some contacts in the area and one good friend who is a developer there.  I was last there two years ago and the folks I stayed with, in fact his wife,  who is local built a house on their adjoining lot for 10kusd.   I had a hard time believing it but they swore up and down that was all it took.   It was quite a lovely 800 sq ft home.  All that one needs with nice verandas etc.   I do realise this is not likely a possibility for me and I expect to be paying substantially more but it makes a little story and makes me wonder a little as well.   so thats the opening gambit I guess.  I am a canadian, living in central canada and my position allows me 6 months off per year and I would like to make the move to costa rica.   Looking forward to hearing from you if you wish to spend any time at all on this matter....best regards
