Hi kindergarten fees are 300-1000RM (not in KL I suspect higher) per month and primary school fees 1,250-2,500 RM per month per child (that is averaged over 12 months). your children can't attend state school.

Medical costs are also quite high. On 7k you will spend every last RM. Salary seems very low. My advice in general is 10k min with under 5  years olds and single foreign expats for other readers (they tend to spend a lot on partying wherwas family asian men have medical bills, school fees and more mouths to feed but save a lot on beer and live a lot cheaper naturally)

Also you have to budget for airflights I guess as company won't pay for family. If you do your sums I think you will have to be careful to breakj even. KL is expensive and what makes me laugh is that eating out is cheaper in Singapore (it used to be so much more expensive).

Rent and bills 2.5k (well if 1.5k shared easily 2.5k). Food, toiletries etc 1k (children!) education fees say 1.5k
(a guess) - 5k before transport, medical and flight costs. 7k will be taxed of course so after tax is approx 6,300 RM so easy to spend.

Can be done but careful spending!
