Hi guys I live in Boca raton Florida where I own my beauty salon and barber shop. I would like to retire to Ecuador but have very little knowledge of the country. I would appreciate it if you would send me any info you can on the basics of the country and what I need for retirement. I'm A single male.
i would like to get to know persons there so we can communicate and contact on my visit therte.

Nick,
My suggestion is to read as many comments on every subject that you can on this forum. You will get an idea of rentals, buying property, costs of living, paperwork required, geographical temps around the country and find contacts to ease the transition who are already in Ecuador.
I have noticed many are tired of answering the same questions time after time and sometimes wont answer. I dont blame them.
Do your homework on Youtube and watch the videos. Check out the Expatexchange.com forum and all others you can find.
Many have asked the exact same questions you may have.
I made a list of questions over a couple of days and googled the questions. You will be surprised how many answers you get that way.
Spend an afternoon and do the research, its the best way.
I am moving from South east Texas in Jan to Cuenca. I found that it is the place for me. Too hot and muggy here.
