an opportunity to relocate to Guangzhou

Hello,
Iam from Chennai-India. Iam considering an opportunity to relocate to Guangzhou-China for about 2 years. Can some one help me with the following points?
a) Is it a safe place for Indians to come and live with family?(Wife and a small kid).
b) Without knowing Chinese, is it easy to manage with english?
c) Do we have Indian grocery stores there in Guangzhou?
d) How easy is it to find a rental appartment?How expensive are they?

Hi,

a) it is safe here.
b) there are a lot young people could speak english now.
c)in Xiao Bei Road there also some of indian restaurants
d)different location with different price, you need to set down your target price before u start to looking for it.

Hi,
I came to know that there are some international communities where we can find rental appartments. The advantage would be an English speaking community. Can anyone please help me with names of such places in Guangzhou? Thanks.
