Soon to be in Kista

Post new topic

Hi Everyone!

I am new to this forum and know nothing about Sweden/Kista. I am soon to relocate to Kista. Please help me out. I need information on almost everything. Also, it would be a good idea to be friends with people already living there.

GSAA

Stockholm's borough of Kista has about 10 000 inhabitants, 60% of them are foreigners (basically people from the Middle East and Africa). Kista is bordered by the boroughs of Akalla, Hjulsta and Rinkeby, some of the most multicultural in Sweden (90% of people in Rinkeby are immigrants). Unfortunately the more foreigners the more crime can be seen, you're in the risk group if you're white.

Anyway, Stockholm has a good metro system, Kista lies on the blue line: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c … ro_map.png (T-Centralen is the centre of Stockholm).

The areas which can be reached by the blue line are usually quite ghetto, however Kista is an area with apartment blocks but also a Scienced Tower

TBH I think Kista was a bad choice, the green and red line areas are usually better. So you should look for a place in those areas because Kista is a quite low-class and shabby area.
