New Job in Oz but our son has Downs syndrome

Hello

I have loads of questions but I'll post them one at a time.  My husband has been offered a great job in Sydney, we have 3 children and the middle one has Downs Syndrome. He attends main stream school and gets 25 hrs TA support plus lots of support generally.  Does anyone know what support is available in Sydney and whether this will hinder us getting in? We will have a 2 year visa I believe but I want to make sure if we want to stay when the 2 yrs is up they won't say sorry you've got a disabled child. Are there any cost implications e.g he has to have numerous medical checkups each year (although he is a healthy boy).

Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks, Anita
