We posted about 11 boxes of stuffs from Singapore by postal service. It has arrived here but now we have no means to bring them home. Can a foreigner rent a van? Neither my wife nor I have driven here before but she only has a motor cycle licence. Are there van rental companies that provide drivers as well? Anyone with similar experience as we 'did things ourselves and not used any forwarding cos'? Thanks

As Linhjolie suggested, use taxi's.

The other alternative is to use one of those three-wheeled motor cycle trucks - they can hold even more than a taxi ... but you will need a taxi for yourself.

No one will rent you a vehicle as you don't have the licence - they always rent the driver, too.

Possibly the Post Office clerk could help you with locating transportation.
