The VIP Express bus leaves 2 or 3x a day right outside the Sahara Compound on Olaya.  The ticket office is right next to the Fred Perry shop.

I agree this is best way if you don't own a car or can't rent it.

howmuch time it took you from train btw?

Train took me around 4.5 hrs and bus too 5.5 hrs. Train first class costed 130 SAR and bus was 60 SAR. Though i think train is a better option. much comfortable.
