Mcfadden

I am Alejandro, a 24 year old Spanish from Canary Islands, and I am moving to HCMV by the first of September  to live and study a Master of international business in the University of law.
Since I have 18 years old , I left my house, I've been in Madrid, France, Portugal and England so  I  know how to live with other persons and I love sharing house or flat with other people, from all nationalities.

And it always went very well, I am easy going , very positive, very CLEAN, with a good sense of humour, I love sports( surf and waterpolo are the best ones) and can adapted myself to all kind of conditions.

I speak four languages, English, French, Portuguese and Spanish,  I love music (I play piano), psychology, travelling, cinema, party,…

I just came from working in the Tour de France like a interpreter for Skoda team, I have also worked like a lawyer but know the situation is Spain I quit hard.

Is not my first time in Asia, I ve been in Thailand 2 years ago and was amazing.

My plans for this year is study the master , work for a company and try to find a good idea to make business in Vietnam, it will be hard but I must try.

I'm looking for a simple, nice and cheap room, I know for my experience that the most important thing is the atmosphere of the house, so I don’t care if my room is small or something like that…

Muchas Gracias!

Hello Alejandro.

Welcome to Expat.com! :)

Thank you for this introduction.

Concerning the flat, you should post an advert in the Housing in Ho Chi Minh City section. It can help.

Good luck in your research,
Aurélie

Hey Alejandro, I've been living in Saigon for about 8 or 9 months. I had a good experience renting with Apato Cosy Rooms.

Hi Mcfadden.

I have lived in many countrys around the world, if i was
you i would look at the saigon craiglist.com and then
under apt./housing.
I allways find my apartments under the craiglist.
Try to look after a private leaser, if you take a company
the price is always 10-20% higher because of there comission.

If your are lucky maybe you can find a small nice studio fore 300 us dollars a month in HCMC.
And DONT pay 2 month deposit, you nearly never get your deposit
back anywere in the world. So if the person dont want to go down to 1 month deposit, then say that you want to give 310 us dollars in rent a month, if they go down to 1 month deposit.
Then in the end you dont loose like 600 us dollars deposit, but a bit less depenting on how long you stay here.  Kind Regards
