Hi Saqib how do you do? Welcome to Riyadh , When shall you be arriving?

Saq-81

Hi Saqib,

I should be arriving in the middle of september.

I think 16th is the estimated date. I get 2 days to find accommodation and then to work on the 18th!

Hows Ramadan going for you? Bad news about pakistan floods eh?
Still...at least we won one game of cricket against england

Ramon1990

Welcome to the Kingdom, bro. So, we have two Saqibs here! I really got mixed when I saw your post, Saqib2, and I was like noway, it can't be Saqib1. lol
Good to have you here, Saqib.

Best wishes.

Ramon,

Saq-81

yes, you were right ramon - it wasnt saqib1 !!

I cant wait to get there. I hope the people are as friendly as this forum.

especially seeing as i'll probably be in a flat cos all the compounds are full.

The internet and a good gym will help me survive!
What do you do for a living ramon?

lol Saqib, don't worry about a thing, bro, I get your back here! When you arrive, just let me know. There's a good gym, though, that would help you to survive "You crack me up, man"lol! It's called the Fitness Time. It's an amazing gym. And the best with no doubts.

Good luck Saqin1, and sorry about the number 1! lol

Ramon,

Saq-81

you can have the honour of being my gym buddy.

we can spot each other and compare our muscles whilst ogling ourselves in the mirrors, whilst disussing the current issues of the day!

Its showing on mine. Please refresh. Will try and post it here too.

Its the first band I played in back home in SL in the early 70s called "Spiritual Recipe". Those were the halcyon days of Woodstock, Flower Power, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and the Hippies....

Actually, you CAN!  When I was in London last week, I saw the revival of the American Tribal Love-Rock Musical HAIR.  It was groovy, baby! ;)

Request Shooted.....

@Allie HAIR must have been ecstatic? Would love to attend a concert of the Beatles even done by the new Fab 4 who are imitating them in the UK. Some of those Sgt Peppers and Abbey Road Tracks still lift me off the ground.

What a trip down memory lane - I also graduated out of the crib of woodstock into 'Aquarius' in bell bottoms and flowers in my hair, out of school and into my job in the 70's - out of the 20th centuary with John Lennon ' Imagine' and still in my job in the 21st centuary but now a desert dweller.

jillndave

Now I remember, two tone trousers and shoes, high waisted flairs - the flair was 32 inches and my waist 28 inches. Walking in a cross wind was difficult.:lol::lol::lol:
Status Quo and Roxy Music. Oh, the embarrassing memories.:lol:
Innocence of youth.
