Post new topic

Khan Musti

Hi every one!Being over weight and obesity are not apreciable for obvious reasons.Lets share your tips for healthy eating with a view of weight reduction and right sizing in order to stay fit and smart.
Thanking in anticipation for your valuable contribution.

Fred

Stop drinking coca cola.

That stuff makes you rounder than the can.

Khan Musti

Very well said I must say. Many people around the globe might not be aware of material contribution of a person who can really make a difference by doing something from his position.Only a few days ago, to fight problem of obesity and over weighing, Mayer of New York imposed ban on sale of such drinks in New York.I salute the gentleman for his serious, practrical contribution.

May be you can not give up Coke etc at once, so here is tip regarding this. When you have strong......URGE, take only 2 or 3 sips of your favourite such drink and not the full can at one time.Better would be not to drink in can rather take a small glass(not big one).Fill only a quater of it and do not drink in one go.Take as much time as you can and one by one take 2 or 3 sips only.Remember these sips should be restricted to only once in a day.Initially these sips be once in a day then in a week then may me fort nightly and then.....you JUST GIVE UP.

Try to avoid bread, rice, pasta and potatoes.
Eat lots of veggies (raw and cooked or grilled) and a bit of fruit and of course drink lots of water and green tea.

Khan Musti

Hi, I am waiting for your kind contributions to this very important topic.

Primadonna

Oh forgot to mention that you must exercise at least a half hour a day (walking should be enough in the beginning) or tree times a week in the gym.
And of course stay away of sweets, chocolate, chips and sugar.

before doing anything like dieting and exercising one must have love and respect to himsel/herself in order to this. :)

I agree with above PLUS avoid dairy products and pork.

I not only lost weight, felt healthier but all the imflamation in my joints disappeared.

Hi, thanks a lot for your contribution. You are right of course respecting yourself and taking good care of yourself is the key motivation while we think of weight watching and right sizing.

This the best advice you can get: go to a dietitian so he/she can make you a personal dietprogram.

Khan Musti

Pepsi4Coke......Hahaha!

Its pretty simple "You are what you eat" so, eat healthy, watch your calories intake and try to drive your body to burn fats, meaning you need to work-out. A lot of experts and researches say that losing weight and getting into shape is 20% Work-out + 80% Kitchen.

Eat Well (Healthy), Move Daily, Hydrate Often and Sleep Well ... Repeat for life ;)

You are what you eat?  Then I'm a bowl of noodles and dan tat.

Most Welcome :)

Do they make pineapple Fanta?  I've never seen that one.

Carbs are good.  The more active you are, the more energy you need.

Totally agree :)

However for those who are trying to lose weight and get into shape, Carbs consumption must be controlled.

Enjoy the noodles ;)

HaileyinHongKong

Eating bad food won't make you die any later.

Khan Musti
