Actually, I think we'll soon work on a new "services" section. This section will be sponsored. I don't want to promote real estate agencies, travel agents etc for free. Does it make sense?

Can we also have a wanted section or looking for ( something to this effect), so people looking for things dont have to post this in with things for sale or available etc...

For areas where classifieds are rare (Central America), it would be nice to get the "aggregate view" like the way the forums work.

Actually, I'd very much like to set my intended destination to "Caribbean" as well.

I can't help you with what to allow for free and what not, I've never run a for-profit website. I would say if a company takes the trouble to place their ad in the relevant (free) section, or even the relevant discussion, I'd let them. Instead of moderating, I'd bombard them with advertisement placement offers: same effort, better chance of income :-)
Mindless spam is different of course.
