Can a UAE driver's license be tranfered to a Kuwait driver's license?

Hi,

I currently have a UAE driver's license and i want to know how do I go about apply for a Kuwait license. Do I have to take a test (wrriten and practical.)

yes, you can. have a look at your licence, it should read GCC, that is what the recent ones in kuwait read anyway. it is a simple matter of paperwork and attestations, no tests.

Legacy, Thanks for responding to my questions. I don't see anything on my UAE dricers license that says GCC. Maybe because I got my licence last year. Hope this isn't an issue.

Did you manage to convert your UAE license to a Kuwaiti license or international?

I am in the same boat, i have a UAE license, and don't see GCC i have UAE bottom left hand corner.
