Information on Exit without Iqama

Dear All,

I would be grateful if any of you people can provide me information on the below point

1. I went to saudi on jan 31 2012 and after reaching there i was unable to adjust myself in the company's provided accommodation and work area. I requested my company G.M to give me an exit, after a lot of discussion and negotiations i paid them 5000 riyal and got my exit without making iqama on 14 apr 2012.

I came to know that there is a rule in saudi that once you reach there on employment visa you should stay for atleast six months after making iqama if not then i will be banned for 5 years.

Can any one please let me know whether this information is correct?

who has given youf also info?
once you have Iqama you can leave even after 2 days but you have to come before your exit visa expires..

Exit before Iqama is not possible.

But 5 yrs ban I think is not correct. I came here in May 2012 and went in June for Pakistan.
