Can anyone recommend a good GP in KL?

If you mean Just to see your GP,

Says for a flu check-up will cost you different prices.
RM 30  to  maybe around 50-to 60 Malaysian Ringgit depends if they prescribe you a expensive medicine (Some medicine like a flue tablets more expensive then others)

So you do not stick with a first GP, visit others to see how much it is.

In this country it is very important to find the right, say plumber, mechanic,GP,hospital Bank so on so forth.

It is best that you get their contct numbers from a local. Because they will know whats the usual price range, because an expat may be charged higher.
As for GPs, I dont think you can go wrong with a very established GP. Ask around within the community. If this fails, go for the chain of clinics, ie Mediviron, Qualitas. As a chain, the hold a better reputation, but it doesnt guarantee that each clinic will live up to that standard.
