My tears suddenly falls when I pray, while looking at poor people who are helpless in life, when Im watching movies and I realize that our life was not so different from the story, when I get mad and felt guilty but above all when I remember my mom struggling for our life in order to survive the time we are young. (I guess I should took an acting lesson, atleast I got paid for my tears:))
Men are by no means weak because they cry. I have seen grown men cry openly at the loss of a comrade in battle.
I have seen men weep at funerals.
It is not a sign of weakness but rather is an emotion of which we are all capable of showing.
men cried, yupp my dad when my grandmom pass away...
brother Emman..
in my opinion, since crying is not a measure of a man,it's okay for you to cry..but there's a different between being a whiny cry baby and crying at a deep personal response..
and cry, doesn't make you less of a man...

Men have always been pretty much trained never to show sadness of any kind. They had to be brave, hard, emotionally in control.
They are not weak if they cry. Sometimes it just has to happen it doens't make the man less weak or less in control with their emotions

that's true, so many reasons why people cry. theres a baby cry, tears of joy, pity cry, cry of hatred, crying while pleasing someone, crying for forgiveness, crocodile tear, etc. whatever it is its a human rights.

crocodile tears are same as back biter hihihi......
Aawwwww....
Hi Emman.
Sheding your tears doesn't mean you are a weak person. It shows that you have a feeling, if you have a feeling then you have a heart.

Crying is not a sign of weakness in men by any means. It shows that they have emotions and feelings. When pain becomes unbearable men also cry, don't kid yourself.
My father was a very sentimental and loving person, he and I always talked about our feelings, our love for one another. When he would come to visit me in Vancouver we'd almost have to put the airport on flood alert when it came time for him to catch his flight back home. It was always the same thing, he'd pass through security and then we'd walk down the long glassed in corridor leading to the gates him on one side of the glass and I on the other, our hands pressed together against the glass, tears streaming down his cheeks and mine as well. His tears were tears of love and sadness at leaving, mine were because I would miss him terribly.
Yep, my dad was a cryer and I'm not at all ashamed to admit that I am too. My dad taught me it was not a shame or sign of weakness to show your true emotions. Here in Brazil we have a saying which is so very true...
Quando os seus sentimentos não cabem mais no coração, saem pelos olhos. = When your emotions no longer fit in your heart, they exit through your eyes.

this explain the kindness in you......
Most man don't want to be caught crying because they thought they might degrade their credibility as a man. Some stay hard on themselves and keep holding on to what they believed is right. Anyway its our right, God has purpose why men has this feelings.
Men who are afraid to cry are weak.

hahaha nice sweet friend....... it will be more devastating if I said those words hahaha.....hey isn't that sarcastic hahaha
If you don't like the answers people give, it might not be a good idea to post them on a public forum.
Not everyone will answer the same question the same way. Isn't that the point of asking such a diverse group of people?

obviously he did'nt answer the question, he answer it with another question. Isn't that irritating, simple if you don't have the answer better not to give one cause Im like that. His guiding the thread out of the topic.
When men shed tears thus this mean they are weak?
rather brave, i believe.
brave enough to show the world the true emotions,
rather than hide those tears in the cowardice called conformity.

God...that's almost similar with my story last night,,
Another expats group in Jakarta had a pool night at one of Irish pub..and few of men there were asking if I need help for my nappy change...shit happens!
But I know they did it only for fun,,not for abusing or something...

yeah your right sh.. happens
Ever since I never saw or hear my father crying, is that mean his manly enough to face all the consequences and trials in life or maybe he realized that crying will not do any good.
He cried. Just not when you were around.

I agree, Ive seen my father crying in separate room at nights, when my brother got ill
yeah I guess you were right guys we're not 24 hours a day seeing together then so I think he cries secretly, specially now 24 years we have'nt seen each other.
if god didn't want men to tear up , he wudn't have created them with tear canal , being open & honest about wat u feel takes real strength & saves the energy you try to control it with ,
that was wat i was trying to say , being tough , fighting your emotions , it takes too much energy , wasted energy . energy that can be better used to do something useful , when u want to cry go ahead , get it over with then do sth else , don't spend time & energy trying to prevent it & carry out with psychological problems that comes out of bottling things up .
