Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hello specialist1,

Could you tell a little about you? It is easier to give suggestions when you know a little of a person/family.

Anyhow, here you can find some other British expat living in Khobar.
we would love to hear some updates.

Good luck,
Melissa

Hi there,

I am a Scottish male living in Khobar.

For a compound there are so many and really depends on your budget, almost all are in Khobar. Have a look at the this website for an idea about prices: www.rightcompound.com

Cost of living in Khobar and Dammam are roughly the same, apartments in Dammam are normally cheaper but also normally older. I would stick to Khobar.

Food shopping is expensive, normal things you are used to buying in Tesco or Asda are very expensive here. You can actually buy Tesco goods here but again much more expensive.

Hi,

I am new to this website so hi everyone.

I am from France and I will be relocated to Khobar end of 2017 with my family including my 2 kids who are 3 and 5 years old.

I would also like to know if you have any suggestions for compounds. I visited Eurovillage last week. I found it a little bit old and quite expensive. Is there any alternatives ? I would be happy to get your recommendations. I have many other questions as I do not know much about this area.

Regards

Ben

Hi Ben,

What are you looking for from a compound. That may help us recommend something for you.

ba2000net

Hi deanb1982,

Thanks for replying to my post.

Well, I am looking for a compound that is suitable for a family to live in. My number 1 priority is that there is a shuttle or any transportation for the kids to go to international schools. Then we would also really enjoy any social life on the compound of course. Let me know if you have any suggestion.

Regards

Ben
