Hello everyone!

Post new topic

AllyRodrigues

We are in the process of making a move to rural South Para! We are after a slower pace of life in my husband's hometown there. I have visited this area previously for several months at a time. We have a 5 year old son who has been raised in the U.S., and my husband has a 12 year old daughter in Brazil.

We are in our early 30's and own a business there. I look forward to talking to everyone!

My husband leaves next week and I am wrapping up my permanent visa with the consulate in DC in the next two weeks, but expect to be travelling by the first week of December.

Hi Ally,

On behalf of the entire Expat-blog Team I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you on board. I hope that you will find the blog both enjoyable and informative. I am a Canadian who has been living in Brazil for eleven years now, I'm married to a wonderful young Brazilian woman and we have a five year old son. I also have four other sons and daughters (all adults now) back in Canada.

If there is anything you need at all in the way of information or advice please don't hesitate to ask.

Cheers,

Hi Ally!

I've recently moved from Canada to Rondonia (Brazil) myself with my Brazilian husband and 3 young children. I suppose you've made the move now? How are you adapting to the changes(sss)? How about your son? What kind of schooling arrangement have you found for him?

Looking forward to hear about another expat's experience... It gets a bit lonely for a busy mama sometimes! :)

Cheers,
Noelia

Saudades

Hello there! I'm leaving my home town and joining my brazilian boyfriend in rio next month! I'm so excited (read, anxious too). Been sleepless and excited the past weeks. Hopefully it will be gone soon!

Well, saudações a todo mundo!
