Ok so me (from UK) and my Partner (From Belgium) are planning to get married back in UK. However I was wondering if anyone knows the process of registering the marriage in UK and then if anything will need to be done in Belgium thanks

As far as I know from my personal case (French recently married in Belgium to a Belgian wonderful woman).

I had to give a recent official french paper, mentionning my full identity, birth, parents, and most important that i was not married regarding the French authorities. Don't know the matching UK document but i guess UK will ask you the same kind of paper from Belgium.

As i did with the French consulate here, you should contact the Belgian consulate/ambassy in UK to register your UK wedding in the Belgian registry.
