But I write today to ask about New Year (Gregorian) 2010, where u r planning to celebrate night of New Year? What will do ? Nice to hear from u …

Peace and blessings to you for the Islamic New Year. I know this is a good time to begin to work toward do well and fleeing from sinful things in life, I wish everyone much strength in this particular endeavor.

As for the year 2010 coming. Or the Eve of it, when many Americans will be bringing in the new year with drinking and even kissing a stranger, I've never agreed this is an appropriate way to usher in a "new year". So generally I am home, away from the road hazards of drinking drivers and sort of reflecting on what has happened over the past year and what I can do to make the new year better overall for those around me and myself.

So that's what I'll be doing :)

And you?

I'm agree with u in the new year should as stop-time to have to our achievements at last year build on it next year, or our mistakes to avoid it again..
But what u said about drinking and kissing , yeah it could be in America or west , but not Jordan , as u know still here morals that control our behaves, and let me told u about last new year , I was in Fuhis , there was many ppl, from all around of Jordan ,they came to celebrate, there was tallest tree in Jordan , even Queen Rania was there … dear Selah73 Jordanian ppl always search about happiness, they don’t care if  it's Xams or new year or Eid alAdha, they want just run away from daily routine, they want to have something new , something funny …

Dear Shobaki, thank you for the insight! Where is Fuhis? And how tall is the tree?? I completely agree...it's nice to break free of regimen and routine and find new and happy and funny thing here and there. This keeps the soul alive and fresh!

Peace and happiness to you,
Selah
