GOLF IN JEDDAH

Hubbie played up at Kaust last week, said it was a really nice course - but I think you have to be a member or know a member - someone he works with organised it for them.

Did you get a place to live in Jeddah yet?

Thanks for the response, well I now have a place in Jeddah, not a compound though. I had to settle for a private apartment but it is in an OK part of town, new and of adequate size with an excellent landlord. I am due to move into tomorrow, so no more flying backwards and forwards to Riyadh at the weekends and finall get back to my own cooking so Stews and soups here I come, not to mention sunday roasts and toffee apple crumble (signature dish). 

If your fella can put me in touch with anyone regarding Kaust that would be really good.

I take it the two of you are enjoying compound life? any invites to social functions would be greatly appreciated. I am hoping that life outside the wire won't prove too isolated.
