I'm remaining in KSA for Christmas. I didn't think it would bother me since it would seem SO unlike Christmas here it would be just another day.

But I was wrong. There is a sadness in my heart. As I think back, I've been very lucky because I have never spent a Christmas without at least one person in my life I that I love.

So I guess the purpose of this post is to wish you all a very Merry Christmas ... and to remind you (and myself) to never take anything for granted (the alliecat is feeling sentimental!).

Feliz Navidad, Glædelig Jul, Vrolijk Kerstfeest, Maligayang Pasko, Joyeux Noël, Fröhliche Weihnachten, Naya Saal Mubarak Ho, Selamat Hari Natal and Buon Natale!

Yeah i felt the same when i was studying at university,i was away for like 4-5 years and missed 8-10 eids away from Parents and siblings.
But no need to be SAD, why dont you cook up something special and invite some friends, have some chit chat, watch a new Movie ummm,,,, lots of stuff to do

I do have plans for tonight. But it's not the same. You know what I'm saying.

Anyway, bought myself some Christmas presents last night so I'm feeling more cheery I got a DVD player and some scented candles.. I'm 'living large' !!!
