Where do u put ur washing machine??

Post new topic

I desperately need to buy a washing machine. Today I went to extra to a look at what was available, measured about 2 or 3 and then came home. The only place we can fit our washing machine is in the bathroom as this is the only place with the taps for fitting the washing machine pipes. Problem is the washing machine would cover a portion of the bathroom door entrance which means the door would not be able to close! Now am I the only one faced with this problem?? Where else would I be able to put the washing machine. I would hv preferred it in the kitchen but that's completely out cz of no pipes and drain to fit it

Mine is in spacious kitchen connected to the geyser and cold water pipes. Every kitchen has a wash-basin and drainage system. You may ask a plumber for some pipelines modification.

Lol that is very good question! I wanted to place mine in the guests bathroom even if it's too tight but I couldn't because the machine doesn't work on low volatge and the only place we had is at the kitchen! my kitchen is so small and a whole cupboard is blocked and I drain the water in the kitchen drainder while it's on..

Thanks guys! We don't have a geyser in the kitchen, and if I were to connect the pipes to the tap in the kitchen, it would mean that as long as I'm doing washing, we can't use the kitchen tap!
Jeez, how could having a washing machine be so complicated!! I also wanted mine in the guest bathroom, but again, then the door wouldn't be able to close!

:) I said *modification*. The plumber will create seperate connections from the water outlets down the basin; thus your taps will keep working. Hot water, however, will be a problem.

Your really don't get hot water in the kitchen? :o

hahahahahaha,
When I moved into our plc, my wife asked me similar question.

Thats the problem you'll find with many of the accommodations here in riyadh until unless you're in some nice compound.

Well there are two options, either you put in your kitchen (get the lines setup) or inside one of your secondary rest room (if its big enough)

unfort, thats the only option
