Ciao a tutti!! 
I wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone and introduce myself 
I currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area and will be moving within a few months to Rome, Italy. 
4 years ago I spent over a year in the Tuscany and Veneto regions of Italy, so I know what it's like 
Still, the transition period is long, the amount of research and organization needed is vast, the questions are many, and the visa bureaucratic process tedious... but in the end, it's all actually enjoyable and fun since it means I get to actually live in ROME!!!!!!!

Yes, I studied in two Italian Universities many years ago through my university in California... so I'm fluent in Italian and I know the culture.
Hopefully I'll be in Rome in a few months, I just have sooo many loose ends to tie and also find housing in the historic center, it takes quite a bit of effort to pick up your life and start over!... but I wouldn't want it any other way
