Salam,
I am planning InshaAllah on coming to tripoli next september. I am researching descent places to stay. I was wondering if anybody had an idea of how this corinthia hotel is? I'm looking to stay for 2 weeks. It will be me, the hubby and three kids ages 4yrs, 18month, 6months. I do not wish for any comments other than what I am requiring about thank you.

Does anyone know if hotels charge for kids that small? Also what would it cost for 2 weeks?

Thank you

Hello Amanda ,

It is a good place to live.
The cost can vary depending on the type of room you have booked.
Plus i think 2 weeks is a ok cost.

It is a good place and one of the best available to live in the city.

Thanks

Radisson blu hotel  is better .. ;)

It is a nice comfortable hotel. Rooms are very nice, food is good but you will get bored with it after a week. Some prefer the Radisson, some the Corinthia, some the Waddan, there's not much between the four of them to be honest. Personally I prefer the Corinthia.
The coffee shop service in the Corinthia is and always has been since it opened, appalling

For pricing, check the website

Thank you for your input. Their website doesn't pull up prices.

Yes it does, EUR285 a night for a double room

No matter the dates, it always gives this message.

Thanks for the input

I've been to the Corinthia and it looks pretty fancy, but I don't like the atmosphere there. The Radisson Blu is nice but the prices are even steeper than the Corinithia, 400 Euros a night. There are lots of smaller, four star quality hotels in Tripoli that can be as cheap as 100 USD a night.

If you are looking for big, fancy, and expensive then I guess you can look into those mentioned above.  On a lesser quality there is the Kabir http://travel.yahoo.com/p-hotel-355371-al_kabir_hotel-i which has the convenience of a money exchange and an ATM.  But to be honest, when I go to Tripoli I low ball it and stay at Hotel Marhaba 218 21 3336464 in Dahara because for me the hotel is just a fancy storage for me to keep my luggage while I am visiting friends.  If you are just looking for a place to "land" while you are trying to find a flat then I would suggest the smaller, cheaper, family owned hotels.  The family who runs the hotel may be more inclined to help you.

Haroon Hotel in Dahra is also very nice.

Corinthia is one of the best options out there....also one of the most expensive ones!

Corinthia and Radisson are similar in that they are high-end hotels by any standards - expect to spend 250-500EUR / night. In my opinion, location is what sets them apart and the Radisson is in a far less congested location but still has a phenomenal view.
