Hi everyone! I've been checking out the forum for the past week and finally decided to join.
I'm new and haven't got a lot of friends and as my profile reads, I get so awkward at group gatherings (on a social setting) so I'm having a bit of a trouble blending in
I'm by myself most of the time, although i quite enjoy my music, a quiet coffee shop and a book/laptop, i do miss the company of people at times.. (what a bore, huh?)
Anyhow, I'm hoping to meet good people that i can hang out with.. I'm not too interesting but someone might enjoy the same things I do!
Have a great weekend, peepz!
Welcome to Bahrain. I am sure you will find alot of friends here
Hello plush.. welcome to Bahrain, I was exactly the same in my first 3 months in Bahrain.. Then i though to go out of the shell and enjoy the beauty of county and its people. Hi pLush,
First of all welcome to Bahrain. Bahrain is a very sweet and loving place, i know you will find and meet alot of good people specially the ones who would match your thinking and the way you are (im sure you already had a good response).
I live in Bahrain as well working in the field of Marketing/Business/Media. get to attend events a lil bit of socializing and i spend my time
its getting cold out here so stay warm and i wish you a pleasant time in Bahrain.
you most welcome to ask me questions and i would like wise do the same. I believe this is the first step to get to know someone.
It is between 18 and 26 degrees but the evenings get really cold. A jumper, fleece or cardigan should be fine to keep you warm.
If people say this is cold then they haven't spent too long in the UK, hottest it ever gets there is about 28 degrees for 3 days in summer. We used to pay to go on holiday and sunbathe in weather cooler than this.
Josnuggles Thanks for replying on my behalf,
Cleom actually when i said Cold i didnt mean it that its freezing but its chilli out here for alot of people living here and not aware of the weather in Europe or other parts of the world the lil bit cihlli for us is actually cold
when ever you come down to Bahrain im sure you will like it.
Hey pLush, You said you liked your music, what kind of music are you into? Would love to exchange music with you or any really. I'm really into Jazz and most of its sub-genres. However I'm eclectic when it comes to music. While we are on this topic(lol), Any live gigs in Bahrain? pLush you would probably find comfort listening to a live band setting a premise for you.
Enjoy your stay in Bahrain, I've heard it's a beautiful country. I'm trying to visit three to four times a month really.

i like different kinds.. but i love "quiet" music most of all. you know, the kind that relaxes your nerves after a day of running around and stuff
actually, i find live band cool but.. not too comforting. lol. at least, the ones i've seen so far, they play pop music more often, so.. i dunno
quiet environment is my thing. although, i do know how to fit in if the situation calls for it. haha
im guessing, on how many times you try to visit in a month, that you enjoy bahrain a lot. it is a very nice country and its easy to like, especially since people here are really friendly too
