Hi Folks,
My wife is 3 months pregnant, and we are looking for a good doctor/hospital for the process ahead.
Appreciate if you can give me a few recommendations...
Currently a few friends have recommended Dr. Bakhsh Hospital.
Thanks in advance...
First of all let me congratulate you, having a kid is a big step Mabrouk. I use to work in the medical field so I hope that my recommendations will help you making your decision. The best Maternity units in Jeddah hospitals are the ones in both IMC and Dr.Soliman Fakeeh Hospital. In IMC the best Gynecologists are Dr.Sama Nadhir and Dr.Hana Badran. At Fakeeh Hospital; Dr.Sahar Maloudi, Dr.Afaf Al Noury and Dr.Fatima Al Outiby. Third and fourth to those two hospitals are United Doctors Hospital Dr. Hanan Shamrani and Dr.Sabah Ali and then GNP Dr. Abeer Ibrahim. For Bogshan Hospital Dr.Samar Shaqi .
All those Gynecologists are fully booked way in advance, so the best option for your first visit is to go early 8:30am or 4:30pm as a walk-in patient and be ready to wait for 3-4 Hours then after this first visit you can be added to their list. Two good Gyn clinics are Dr.Asma Shahrour in Noura Building Palestine Str. and Dr. Arab in Rowdah Str.
Ahamad,
Thanks a lot for the quick reply !
IMC is not covered in my Insurance, but will surely look into other options you have recommended.
Thanks again !
Jazaakallah Khair
ASA,
I checked out UDH's Dr. Hanan Shamrani. I called the hospital and they said this doc doesn't accept the Insurance cards, only cash patients. OUCH!
I was literally thinking of UDH as it's very close to my place.
hmmm..I guess when you are that high in demand ,then you can set your own rules. Dr. Hanan is known for Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery . So go for Dr.Sabah Ali she is the best next thing. UDH has more than 8 other gynecologist, so if everything is going smoothly with your wife pregnancy then any of them will do..
Try SABA Clinics, Bawadi. Ask for Dr. ABdulhaleem, He's great based on my own experience.
Assalamualikum Mr.Rizwan
Congratulation for your coming baby, Mr.rizwan i am also searching for good Gynecologists(female)/Hospital. If you please suggest me which hospital is good in jeddah.
I am having Tawuniyya Insurance.
Jazakallah.
Hi,
well 1st of all Congrats, its a difficult journey though
I came to Jeddah when my wife was 7 months Pregnant.
Many of my friends consulted me to go to GNP Hospital and go for Dr. Taj Khanam, shes an Indian (good for Indian and Paki folks)
we had a great experience with her and the Doc seemed to be really professional and knows whats she doing. the best part is that she doesnt go for a lot of medication unless necessary.
Alhamdulillah my wife had a normal delivery, the Baby is now 3 months and everythings fine Alhamdulillah.
Consult a Doc with whom your wife feels the most comfortable, Ladies feel shy having there Husbands along but I would suggest you stick along and keep a check of everything.
Good Luck
Dear All,
Feeling not comfortable but to get the best consultation, I got the peas size pimple inch away from anus around 6month before. It was painful but automatically disappeared after staying for a month. Now, it reoccurred again at the same place and is very painful, even hard to sit.
Through surfing, I could not realize what this is an abscess, hemorrhoids, wart but could not conclude...Rather wandering more, I plan to visit a doctor.
Just guide me where and which female doctor (Urdu/Hindi Folks) should I consult and whether it needs dermatologist or colorectal surgeon??
Jazak Allah
HI
my wife went to al-abeer hospital, jeddah, aziziya doctor confirmed she is pregnant. she dont' have medical insurance card. can u please suggest me where to have good Gynaecology lady doctor in aziziya, jeddah. waiting for u reply.
Dear All,
Congrats to all parents.
Avoid Three hospitals, Fakeeh Hospital and Jeddah National Hospital, the same as Saudi German Hospital.
Jeddah National Hospitals has shown us Two different tests "Negative and Positive" We don't know what to believe or what not. The OBGyne specialist was not satisfying as well and we will not go there anymore and also their receptionists cannot speak English even they don't know what is Gynecology My wife was registered there as "Male" lol
Fakeeh Hospitals will force you to do cesarean, one of my friend wife was specially forced to go through, Fakeeh Hospital is a business center rather than health care center.
The same in Saudi German Hospital, they care about money and nothing else. They will also force you to go through cesarean delivery.
The health care has become more like a business centers so they will force you to go for cesarean delivery and in this case they get more money from the insurance companies. "Doctors have no human heart or completely heartless"
The best one is yet to come. I will post my wife experience here soon and advise you the best OBGyne in Jeddah. We are still in Search but we have received some advises from friends and will try them tomorrow.
Wish us good luck and a healthy baby and mama.
Helo..
I want to ask do you have any to refer an ob-gyne specialist professinal here in jeddah that doing procedure like heat balloon theraphy for cases of endometriosis
Thanks
Looking forward

Dear concerned do u have any idea about dr rafiq barqawi he previously worked in dr sulaiman fakeeh hospital please help
I am searching for him too:( They said he left to his country. I am following him on twitter and linkedin but nothing new. His last tweets were in 2014. Hope he is safe and sound. He was the best consultant in Jeddah.
Doctors in ksa just handle ur case as long as its not problematic.....Look for the hospital which also has available Pediatric surgeons to treat special cases like heart surgeon etc. if newborn needs immediate surgery!
I advise any one searching for a special Ob/Gyn specialist, to try with doctor Anas Almarzouqi (UDH) in Jeddah.
He's one of the best Gynecologists in KSA.. He has the best knowledge and skills in his field as well as the best morals of a doctor..He is a Saudi doctor with international
standards.. I am proud to be one of your patients and proud of such a Saudi Professional doctor ( Anas Almarzouqi )
I has passed my best Caesarean with him 2 weeks ago.. It has been the best experience I've passed that was even better than natural childbirth..
Thanks ya Allah..
Then
Thanks to you D. Anas..
My Best Wishes.. Sherry Abdullah
Dear Friends,
Anybody available now to share with me the details for the good gynaecologist in Jeddah?
Hello, Have a nice day, my wife has a problem with the pregnancy. After my son's birth (He is 16 years old) she got 04 times pregnancy but after the three month Doctors inform the fetal don't have the heart beat and they make D & C for her.
For those times my wife doesn’t have any bleedings or any pain. But Doctors do the D & C because the fetal don’t have the heart beat.
Before six months we removed an ovarian cyst in India
Now my wife got pregnancy. It is now 02 months fetal. So I am afraid and I no need the same heart beat problem again. Kindly guide us what the possibilities of treatments we must move now.
