Hey All,

I am referring to the blog since 2 days and feel that you all will surely help me out with my questions.

I am planning to shift with my wife (no kids) for a job in PJ and will be negotiating with HR early next week (Monday-Tuesday) but I am not able to decide on the package (overall yearly) and what would be the monthly requirement.

I have few commitments to take care of in terms of savings:
1. 3000 RM per month for EMI's in India.
2. Around 800 RM per month to save for a yearly trip to India.
3. Anything above this should be added advantage in Malaysia.

My office is in PJ and would prefer to stay pretty close to office (15-25 mins travel). Would require a decent home in PJ and once in a week dinner outside else my wife loves to cook. :)

What should i ask as my per month salary after all deductions i.e. PF (would like to know what's the percentage) & TAX deduction.

I hope you all will give me enough support to be prepared for the HR meeting and I would settle for a good amount to have a comfortable and enjoyable lifestyle in Malaysia.

Many thanks.
