I am in the process of making plans to move to Tanzania. This won't be with a company, as of yet, although I am hoping to get hired before moving there this Summer. My wife and I, both who are African American, feel that there are more opportunities in East Africa than in the US, especially in California.

Any thoughts on this?

I will be arriving in Arusha at the end of Jan and I too am visiting to see what it is all about. I am American in GA from ATL. It seem that there are so many different nationalities from around the world that seem to be seeking opportunities in Africa so do not feel like the lone ranger.
