ChefMark

Hello all,

I'm Mark from the UK.

I'm just looking for a bit of advice,  I'm renting an apartment in the ladprao area of the city.    I have enough money for my trip, but I would love to work in my field.   I understand I can't take up paid work without the right visa, but I would love to have a chance of working in a traditional kitchen or large hotel.

I will be studying Thai language and arriving on a ED visa.  I have a degree from the UK, plus a 2 year culinary arts diploma and 2 years experience as a Sous Chef and Kitchen manager.

I was looking at the possibilty of a Internship in my field.  There are so many websites around, I'm not sure which are true or scams.

I know I could teach English with my degree and UK origin, but I really want to work in my field.  Any budding Chefs around who could offer some advice.     I'm not looking for big wages, Just opportunity.
