How to succed family move to HK

Dear all,
First of all happy new year.
I'll visit HK for the first time at end of Jan. This trip is to help to prepare my definitive move and I would be very grateful if you could help.
My needs are on area to live, cost of life, French school,..... All feedback are welcome and if some can be available I will be more than happy to catch up when over.

The cost of living will depend entirely on where you live.  Expat neighborhoods are far more expensive than Chinese neighborhoods.

Most of the international schools are English or Japanese.  The only French school I know of is
