I've tried just about most things including education ministry to no avail so might get my father in law to call round as he's not far from the school :)

There is only one primary school in Mellieha and it is now called the Maria Regina Primary school but it used to be called the Maria Bambina Primary school.  Its telephone number is:  2152 3527.

Thanks as will get my father in law to ring them soon once we have a confirmed date which will be hopefully very very soon to moving out there

Will your children be starting at that school? I want to know whether they teach in English. Really can't afford private or an international school but I don't want my (8 year old) daughter to struggle.
We are moving out there end of march but have not yet decided on an area.

Hi Hayley,
Sorry for the delay in replying......as far as I am aware they teach most subjects in Maltese upto 5 then the rest is english aswell as teaching other languages.....I emailed the high commission and here is a copy off the reply
