I want to buy some stuff in SaiGon and since it means a flight from Phu Quoc Island, where I am for the season, can someone tell me if the pricing in the shops are better BEFORE or AFTER Tet holiday, like the Boxing Day sales back home?

Thanks.

Nhi

If you want to buy clothes, before TET. About other stuff, not sure, but If I were you, I would buy before TET

Jaitch

What type of stuff are you wanting to buy?

Marine type stuff can be found in Cho Lon - most of which will be open next week.

Judy.lovely

You can buy clothes in Sai Gon Square. (popular in Dis1 )
We don't have Boxing Day but before Tet holidays many store sale off their products until 50%. You can buy them with cheap price.
You should buy Before Tet. Trust me...

@Nhi & @Judy.lovely - Thank you ladies, for your input.

I am not wanting clothes but ELECTRONICS. From what @Judy.lovely it looks like I have to make it to the Big S by the weekend.

Thanks again for your inputs. I think I read someone recommending Hong Loan so I should be able to get in and out in one day!

Asking and answering your own questions these days?   Wow.

For those of you that don't know, WorzelGummidge and Jaitch are the same person.  Both user ID's are apparently fighting for possession of the poor mans soul.
