I wonder what has happened to the employers now a days that they are not willing to pay considerable salaries to the newly employeed personnel. You're adviced to negotiate to certain extent if possible.

I would suggest you to only accept this offer if (and only if) they provide you the company accomodation. It is however possible for a single person to adjust himself in OMR 100/month. It will accomodate your food + general expenses. Al-Ansari is a nice company and to the best of my knowledge, they provide accomodation as well.

However, please keep this in mind that Oman is an expensive country.

Hi jaykumar.sawant,

First and foremost, I would advise you to read through the numerous previous posts in this forum, which will answer all your queries in great detail. You will easily get all the information you need, if only you seek. So “seek and ye shall find” !!!

Pun apart, here's some news you can use regarding general takeaway / eating out food expenses for bachelors :

For 3 meals a day (with non-veg for lunch and dinner) the rates vary anywhere between R.O. 32 – R.O. 35 per month.

For 2 meals a day the rates would be around R.O. 26 – R.O. 28 per month.

Best wishes !
