Good morning,

does anyone knows how long does it take to apply and receive an birth certificate? How much does it cost?

I am quite annoyed because no official website provides further information. I tried to send an email to Addis' city government which has never been replied. Also my fiancèe was not able to find out more facts because it is very difficult to reach this authority by phone. Furthermore it is too far from his place.

I don't need the information anymore. My fiancèe has got his birth certificate already, it was a misunderstanding between the two of us.

But what I see here in this forum, hardly any member knows about formalities or provides any help. Even silicon free hair shampoo seems to be completely unknown. :-D
