Why would you bring a TV? If yours is NTSC (Never The Same Colour)(US standard) should work.

VN TV standards are NTSC M, SECAM D (See: < http://countrycode.org/tv-standards >, < https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vietnam_Television >)

Check: < http://www.nguyenkim.com/tivi-lcd-sony- … 0-me6.html >, < http://www.nguyenkim.com/tivi-led-toshiba-23pu200v.html >. (VND2,000,000 = USD$100)

So why haul one here?

X-box OK (copy software here)

Hand-carry usually means no duty but a 32" TV!!!!!!!!!!

I am coming from PP,  I bought the TV here in Cambodia.

I was reading your profile.

Should be no problem as the baggage stays on the bus except if they have a tip about drugs. Make sure you get a 45-seater bus, they have decent sized luggage lockers.

No visa at the border, don't forget!
