Greetings from Cusco

Greetings every one, my wife and I recently relocated to the Cusco region to operate a bed and breakfast. I am originally from southern California and most recently lived in Las Vegas, my wife is originally from Lima and lived in the US for 12 years, A few years back we decided to re-locate to Peru and started researching locations. In early 2012 we took a trip to Cusco and purchased a property in Huarocondo, with the intention of converting it into a bed and breakfast, we then moved here in August of 2012 and opened “GringoWasi”. The name was chosen as a way to pay respect to the local culture; most of the population of Huarocondo still speaks their native language Quechua, Wasi being a Quechua word for house means the name can be translated to “Gringo’s House”. We would enjoy meeting any of you that might have a chance to travel to the Cusco area, and can offer up some interesting out of the way locations to visit while you are here.
