Unfortionally it is difficult to find good chocolate.
For those who can: enjoy it.

Valentine Day is associated to a Christian celebration.

Which one?

"Malaysia's National Fatwa Council forbids Muslims to celebrate"

Primadonna

It is not an relion celebration so I don't understand why these Malaysia Fatwa Counsil forbid this.
I feel some gut feelings about this and I am afraid that I know why.

Saint Valentine's Day, commonly known as Valentine's Day, or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is observed on February 14 each year. It is celebrated in many countries around the world, although it remains a working day in most of them.
St. Valentine's Day began as a liturgical celebration of one or more early Christian saints named Valentinus
Pardon my ignorance. Who are you to QUESTION a Fatwa Council?

JasfurJQ

When saint valentine died he use his blood to write a letter to his love one. It is forbid to celebrate in muslim because it is not a sunnah and it's a man made festival and no any evidence that say we could celebarte it.:)

Yes, I read that too, but to me it is not Christian celebration despide how it began.
I don't question anything about the Fatwa Counsil because this is not the forum it.
Beside that, I have not always trust in these fatwa's.
If you want to know why, you can do some research on the internet

JasfurJQ

everyday day was made by Allah swt a special day as long as you make it fruitful, love is everywhere and we can start love not only in valentines day. :)

Primadonna

@ Jasfur: you are right but the meaning of Valentines day these days is to show your affection or love to the one you don't dare to approach.
On this day you can send anonymous a gift or postcard (or whatever you like to do).

Maybe an idea for you :D:P?

JasfurJQ

thanks, but celebrating it is not my idea I just share what I knew and it's haram to us. :)
