IBAN mix up - please advise...

Hi all,

I've been paid a sum into my UK Bank account, however un beknownst I quoted my UK bank details and not my IBAN. the monies are floating somewhere around in cyber space and as yet have not been delivered to my UK account - it's now been 11 days. Obvioulsy the funds can't be transferred again until the bank voids the orignal transaction. Could anyone please advise how long it will take for systems to void the transaction and allow the person to transfer the money using my IBAN again?

With thanks

Your money is actually held with the Bank of Scotland. You could always try contacting them with your banking details.

Good luck

Thanks for this. Is this still the case if it;s SAMBA to HSBC> Assumabley HSBC would be holding it?

Unsure about that, anyway just email either, with details. All transactions going to the UK, are held automatically with the Bank of Scotland.
