On behalf of the entire Expat-blog Team welcome on board. I hope that you will find your experience here on the blog both enjoyable and informative.
I'm sure you will get the chance to meet many new friends in Belo Horizonte here. Probably not until after Carnaval now since things aren't too active in the forum because of the holidays, but give it some time.
I'm a Canadian who has been living in Brazil for eleven years now, while I'm presently living in Macaé - RJ I lived in Belo Horizonte for about 4 and a half years.
