Thinking about moving to Santa Marta. Currently live in Granada Nicaragua. Have checked differant sites on passport entry and get a vague timeline as to allowed length of stay. Can anyone enlghten me. Thanks, Bill

Aurelie,thank you for replying. As I noted earlier, I have been living in Central America for 6 years but I am seriously thinking about Santa Marta. I have gone the computer route and have a fair idea of what Santa Marta appears to be, what is throwing me is the time alloted in Colombia on a tourist entry. The official US site said the number of days is decided at the border and is from 30 to 60 days with a possible extension. Could you enlighten me. I have many more questions but will not burden you at the present. Thanks again, Bill
