On behalf of everybody here at Expat-blog, welcome on board.

Quite apart from the issue of this being a really old thread, the vast majority of expats living in Brazil tend to concentrate in the state capitals and major cities as opposed to living in the interior.

So while you'll find expats in São Paulo (capital) and the Baixada Santista (mostly here for work) and some in Campinas because of UNICAMP, it's really rare that you're going to find any in other cities, with the few exceptions of those expats who've married Brazilians and work didn't motivate their choice of cities.
